The winter holiday has finally begun. I celebrated by lying in bed for entirely too long this morning. It's a well-kept secret that the teachers enjoy these things just as much as the students. I think we even make the same 'Do I have to!?!' noises when it's time to go back.

Now that I have the entire week off, it may be time to do something mad. Like start shopping for gifts.

I swear, some parents would leave their children here overnight if they thought they could get away with it. Every day it seems like I'm sitting outside with the same half dozen children, watching them peer hopefully down the street because their parents are late (again). Then they pull up like they haven't a care in the world, yelling at the child to hurry up.

I really don't understand some people.

Well. That was different. Leaving Tristan to his own devices for a week has probably traumatized half the people we've been in contact with. He didn't challenge anyone to any duels, did he? I'm amazed I didn't wake up to find myself committed.

Edit (added about half an hour later): Right. I'm Cooper Mason, since I seem to have skipped over the introduction bit earlier. Many hellos and all that.
